Brazil Cars unsafe!

The assembly lines in Brazil produce over 10,000 cars a day but does the quanity affect the quality. Brazil car makers are making cars that would not not impact testing the the U.S. but that doesn't matter to the Brazilian Auto Makers. They just want to keep pumping out vehicles to make more money even though they have 40 percent more traffic deaths than the United States. These new cars that are being made are pretty much all for the Midlle Class people. Most of the people in Brazil are in the Middle class. Saftey offials in Brazil are concerned but the car makers arent.

Tebow Petition

Fans started a petition and posted it to the White House's petition page online for the Jaguars to sign Tim Tebow. The fans had to take it all the way to the top to Mister President because the Jaguars organization wants nothing to do with Tebow. The petition has 329 signatures at the moment which is far behind the 100,000 they need by May 30. The fans say that if the Jaguars sign Tebow and start him every home game, the stadium will sell out which will raise stock in the organization. The Jaguars are smart for not wanting Tebow but will the organization give in for money sake?

The Tired Elk

In Colorado, there is a elk that has a tire around its neck. This elk is running around this town wearing the tire as if it were a necklace. Wildlife offials dont want to remove the tire from the elk because they would have to tranquilize it. They dont want to tranquilize it because they believe it might be pregnant and they might cause harm to the baby. The tire is not affecting the elk in anyway it can still eat and breath normally. It is just adding some muscle to the neck of it. This isn't the first wierd thing that has happened to an elk. Four years ago an elk had a bar stool stuck to its head.

Unsafe building

In Bangladesh an eighty story building collapsed killing at least 87  people. This building was where a bunc of garmet factories was located. They dont know exactly how many people were killed as they are still removing the pieces that collapsed. The workers that were there werent going to come to work this morning because of the big cracks that devolped in the building yesterday. 5 months ago this building also started on fire and killed 112 people. This building supposively violated building codes and the builders will be punished.

Prison Break

This past saturday French Gangster Redoine Faid broke out of prison. He made the remarkable break from Sequedin Prison located in Lille. He escaped by  holding 4 guards hostage and blowing off several prison doors and then hopped into a get away car. He fleed all the rest of the guards on the escape and is still doing so in the car. The car that he was driving he set on fire and then he left 2 hostages laying in the middle of the highway. The authorities are still trying to find him but they arent having much luck. The prison says that the escape is due to a overpopulation and they think when his wife visited last that she snuck in the bombs.

Dutch Meat recalled

50,000 tons of meat from The Netherlands have been recalled across Europe. The meat is being recalled is because they dont know exactly where it came from. They say that some of the meat may be horse meat. Latley there was some beef that was sold in Europe that was actually horse meat. The meat that has been recalled dates all the way back to January of 2011 until February of this year. The safety of the meat is also in question. But since the meat dates back to that long ago most people probably already ate it and i haven't heard a large death amout or crisis in Europe so things are fine.

Dome comes to Gibraltar

Today the Metradome was flown from Minnesota to Fish Creek wisconsin and dropped so it covered the baseball field and track. The former building that housed the Twins and the Vikings, was bought by Gibraltar due to the terrible spring we are having. Now the baseball team will be able to have productive practices and play their games. They are also making money off of the building because other teams are paying to play in the building since  the snow will not leave. Rumors also have it that the building will hold community events like country music concerts, basketball tournaments and whatever wants to be held their. This is a great building for Fish Creek and mainly Gibraltar baseball because they do own it.

North Korea asking for it?

Today, Tuesday march 26, North Korea just warned South Korea and the U.S.A. That they have aim at those two countries with their rockets. North Korea has planned to take aim at millitary bases on the U.S mainland Hawaii as well as Guam. These bases have been put on the highest alet that they could be put on. South Korea aslso is on high alrt to recieve an attack from North Korea. All this is supposively all just to gain millitary credidentials for North Korea's new leader Kim Jung Un. I dont really think that North Korea would actually act on this because if they would, they would be taken right off the map.

Prison head shot!

Tuesday night the head of Colorado's prison system was shot and murdered. Tom Clements  who was 57 was the cheif for 2 years in Colorado and was the number 2 man in missouri for over 30 years. 
the shooting took place at his house on the eve of the gun control signing in the state. Police say that the shooter had to of gone out of its way to do the job because tom lived in an isolated part of the woods off the main road. there hasnt been a suspect named yet but there was a witness that saw a car right away. i would have hated to have that job because that is just scarey!

Hindenburg finally figured out?

The Hindenburg blimp blew up on May 6, 1937 and they just not think they found the reason that it happened. Researchers say that the German dirigable exploaded due to static electricity. Seventy-six years ago when it was landing in New Jersey it blew up and killed 35 of the 100 passengers and workers on board. The Hindenburg was supposed to blaze a path for trans-Atlantice Flight. But when it blew up it obviously wasn't the future that people wanted. This interested me because when i took transportaion class earlier this year we talked about this. Hopefully it was only due to static electricity and the research was correct.

Rodman in Korea

Former NBA standout Dennis Rodman is in North Korea as a spokesman for bringing the Harlem Globetrotters there to play some basketball. Dennis is the wrong canidate to send there i feel because of his track record. He is known for his crazy hair, piercings and his terrible attitude and personallity. But if he gets the globetrotters there it will be a win and hopefully he can come out of the country alive.  Dennis played many seasons in the NBA and has written his own book which he came in a dress to a signing event. Dennis Rodman is a crazy human being!

celebrating gone wrong!

two brothers won $75,000 in the lottery and celebrated. they took their money and went out to buy meth and pot to do but then it all ended up bad. the butane torch that they were using had a little leak and the vapor got to the pilot of the furnace to blow up the home. the two survived the explosion and taken to the hospital. last night one of the guys was released from the hospital but was immediately arrested on drug charges. these two brothers did not deserve to win the money especially because how they spent it

First in 600 years!

Pope Benedict XVI is resigning from being the pope effective February 28. The pope is 85 years old and he is resigning due to the fact that he is aging and his health is declining. He feels that he can no longer do his duty of looking over over 1 billion Catholics. He was the first pope to resign since 1415 when Pope Gregory XII stepped down. The Catholics will have a new pope before easter, which is March 31. There isnt a leading canidate to replace the pope but the Catholic community is working hard to find a replacement.

no mail on saturdays?

The u.s. post service or the mail is planning on cutting out saturday mail routes to cut down the cost. this plan would save the agency 2 billion dollars. it is going to be annouced today according to fox new and will bevin effect starting in August. the service has been struggling with money and has raised the mail prices over time including a penny raise lately. Research shows that 7 out of 10 americans approve of the move. Packages will still be delivered 6 days a week because packages have gone up 14% since 2010. i think this move is decent and in 20 years i feel there will be no mail system it will all be email.

Grad rate very high!

High school grad rates are the highest they have been since 1976. With that about a fifth of the students arent graduating in four years but who cares. at least the kids that cant do it in four years stick with it and graduate after all. Kids are realizing with this economy jobs are very difficult to get with a diploma. So without one it is almost impossible. Unless you want to work at McDonalds or Burger King for the rest of your life you need to have direction in your life like going to college and majoring and getting a job to support yourself and family. It is good to see the rates going up!

PED's

Today in a new list of baseball PED's there were 5 susperstars among many more. The list cam from a clinic that supplied the players with the drugs. Gio Gonzalez, Alex Rodriguez, Melky Cabrerra, Bartolo Colon and Nelson Cruz were the 5 stars. This year the league has passed a law stating that they can test in season for banned substances and will start too. I think this will find many more players using and could hurt the reputation of the game but it needs to be done.

NRA Video calls Obama a Hypocrite

NRA, National Rifle Association came out with a video that called Obama a Hypocrite because he doesnt want schools to have an armed securtity system. He was called this also because his own children get their own armed security so people are sayin that he only cares about his own children. I believe that all people are equal so in saying that all schools should have armed security personal whether it be a teacher or a cop. Just because they are the presidents kids, that doesnt make them any better than anybody else. There should be armed security personal in all schools.

Zorb Accident

In Russia two men where in a zorb inflatable ball and it veered off the course. It went over a rock leadge on a ski hill killing one and severly injuring the other.  The ball rolled for over a mile launching the people out of it. The guy that is still alive suffered head and spine injuries and he is the lucky one. People in Russia love zorbing but after this i really don't know what their views are going to be. A video has been released of the run.

WWII practice bomb found

The other day Sonny Carter a 7 year old from Gaywood, England was using his new metal detector and found a rare find.  He and his family found and dug up a 11.5 pound World War II practice bomb and brought it home. When they got it home and washed it they realized that it was a bomb so the Royal Air Force bomb squad was dispatched to the house. The bomb didnt have any explosives in it so everyone escaped danger. So after this bomb was found, the government advised the citizens to not move the device if they find one.
