2013 has been a year of ups and downs. Wisconsin sports have been rolling while NFL coaches are moving on. The Brewers made it to their first World Seires since 1982 but eventally ended up losing to the Yankee/Dodger wanna bees, Blue Jays/ Marlins. The Brewers made the the biggest trade deadline deal this season by aquiring Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman for Corey Hart, Willy Peralta, Michael Fiers, Carlos Gomez Jean Sugera and Rickie Weeks.  While the Bucks made it too the playoffs for once in their lives but were without the NBA's leader in Blocks, Larry Sanders because he fell down his stairs at home and broke his leg and arm. Bucks got Swept in the first round. Now onto the NFL... Rex Ryan, Romeo Cornel, Ken Whisenhut, Andy Reid, Tom Coughlin, Denis Ryan, Norv Turner, Pat Shurmur all got fired. 25% of the leagues head coaches got fired in the off-season. Thats your 2013, Year in Sports!

Storage Wars Staged?

Dave Hester from the show Storage Wars has filed a lawsuit against the show saying that it is staged. Dave was fired from the show for coming out and saying that it was sstaged. Storage Wars is A&E's most popular show ever and has declined to comment on this. Dave says that the show goes into lockers and places high value items into them to make the show more entertaining. He is represented in this case by the same man who represented Charlie Sheen in his lawsuit against Two and a Half Men. I really hope that this show isnt staged because i love watching it and it is very entertaining!

Auto Sales Booming!

In Novemeber, last month the car sales are up 15% from the same time last year. This is the highest rate that the cars have sold at since January 2008. Honda, Nissan, BMW and Hyundai had their best Novembers ever selling more cars this year in November than any other year. More than1.1 million cars were sold in November in the U.S. Most or a high percentage of those cars were imports rather than the domestic brands. Some of these sales were replacing the roughly 250,000 cars that were destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. So i dont think that it is a good sign to the economy but it is a good sign to automakers for sure.

Two Men instead of Two and a Half Men?

A year after Charlie Sheen left the show, Two and a Half Men they are now close to losing anothing part to the show. Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake the Half man, came out and critically claimed that the show is "filth." Angus keeps filling his pockets with the money he gets from his acting but he is kind of ashamed of it. He doesnt like the show because it is mean minded especially towards the females in the show. I can see that because all of the shows have to do with being with one woman one show and a different another. Many say that the director has dug himself such a deep hole that he much just have to rename the show to One man featuring John Cryer. I watch this show and see nothing wrong since it is a comedy after all.

Prius Recall

Toyota has recalled 670,000 older Priuses in the U.S due to potentially defective steering. And 350,000 of those same Priuses were also recalled for a bad waterpump that could force the car to start Stalling. Not only the U.S. is having recall for these but there are 2,8 million around the world that are getting recalled. The Priuses that are getting recalled are from 2003 through 2009. In 2009 Toyota also recalled these same cars for a acceleration problem. So are these Hybrid cars really worth having if they have all these problems?

Climbing the Sears Tower

On sunday, November 4th, a 31 year old man was the first person with a bionic leg to climb the 103 story tower. Zac Vawter was part of a charity event to raise money for rehab institute of Chicago. His leg is controlled by the power of his mind. I think that that is very cool. The climb took him 45 minutes to complete and he was pumped after. It is truely amazing that you can control you fake leg with your mind and being strong enough to make it all the way to the top is great for this guy.

Monster Energy Deadly?

Monster Energy has been linked to 5 deaths and one nonfatal heart attack to this date. Monster has 7 times the caffeine of a 12 ounce can of a cola soda. The FDA is investigating the deaths and the company for the reactions of the people. These deaths started in 2004 and nobody really knows if Monster directly caused the deaths or if there was something else. This was all brought on when a family sued last week about their daughter dying a year ago after drinking two 24 ounce Monsters within a 24 hour period. she died from a heart attack from caffeine toxicity. The examiner also found she inherited a disease that weakens blood cells. There is a limit on caffeine for soda but there is none for energy drinks. Monster told reporters they weren't aware of their product killing anybody.

Brand New car for $3000?

An Idian automaker, Tata, has anounced that he is going to bring the $3000 Nano micro car to the U.S. It is a 10 foot car that has 4 doors but it lacks some of the essentials that all cars here today have. This car doesnt have power stearing, airbags traction control. When they first created the car it was meant to compete against motorcycles and scooters. Since the car lacks those safety features and only has a 37 horse power motor, the improvements will bring the price up but still hopefully under 10,000 dollars. The car car isn't a good success in india with so many people but they think it will be greater is the U.S. I wouldn't touch this vehicle with a ten foot pole!

30 to 60 Years

Jerry Sandusky was jut sentenced to 30- 60 years in prison for abusing 10 boys in the last 15 years. Jerry was a football coach at Penn State University where he abused the boys of was "teaching them how to shower." That was his excuse for being the showers with young teenagers and younger. Jerry got out easy with 30-60 years in prison because he faced up to 400 years on 45 counts of abuse. Because of what Sandusky did the great Joe Paterno's legacy is tarnished because it happened during his time there. Penn State is also under suspension from the B1G title game for the next 4 years and  aren't eligible for any bowl games. Jerry Sandusky deserves to rot in his cell.

Party busses Safe?

This weekend a 11 year old girl in Portland, Oregon fell out of a party bus emergency window on her way with friends and family to a quinceanera. A quinceanera is a really special day when a latino female turns 15 years old. The 11 year old was leaning up against an emergency exit on the bus and on a turn the window opened and the girl fell out and died on the scene. Nobody knows if the window was unlocked by somebody of if it was broken. This isn't the only party bus death this year. Last month in New York a 16 year old boy stuck his head out of an emergency exit on a double decker bus and was killed when his head struck an overpass. So are party busses safe? I really don't think so because when lots of people are together, they do stupid thing but then again it is a way of uniting as friends.

Packers lose on a INT!

The Green Bay packers lost their game on Monday night on a play that should have been called differently. The Packers intercepted a ball clearly in the endzone but the refs called it a touchdown because the offensive player caught the ball which was clearly wrong. Even if you are not a Packers fan, you would agree that the wrong call was made. But the NFL has agreed to keep the call the same to protect the crappy replacement refs. The call should be overturned but the NFL is to afraid to change the outcome because they dont want a bad reputation but right now the reputation of the NFL is destroyed.

More Housing being sold and less foreclosed?

In August the market of houses being sold and being built have been at a high since 2006. Less houses are being foreclosed on lately and more people have been building. People have been buying more houses now because the price has dropped so low that is in the range for average buyers to buy the house that that love. Even with these sales rising, by the end of the year the financial state will be about halfway back to where it should be. This is the start of the economy becoming normal again and the start of businesses rising back up, at least I believe so.

Al Pocino the new Paterno?

Al Pacino is eying up a possible movie that will be about the life of the late Joe Paterno. Joe Paterno was the best coach in college football history arguably and Al Pacino wants to play his character in a biography film. The film hasn't been started yet and hasn't had screen-writing or anything done yet with it but there are many people pushing for the film. It would be based on a biography written by Joe Posnanski over the last two years. The book starts when Joe Paterno was a little boy and how he grew up and became the face of college football to his death in January. If this film happens, i will be watching it.

Push off Push worth over $250 million?!

On August 26, 2012, the biggest trade in quite some time or even baseball history was completed. It also marked the most expensive trade in any sport's history. The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a deal with the Boston Red Sox bringing them 3 big name all-stars in Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett along with utility infielder Nick Punto. The Dodgers sent away their first baseman and pretty much depleted an already depleted minor league system that they had. Not only did they kill their system they also picked up more than $250 million in salary through the 2018 season. This all went down to "guarantee" a playoff spot for the Dodgers but it really isn't working out yet. So as of now the Dodgers just spent millions of dollars to see their system dwindle away to nothing and end up with older washed up players.
